What does SwimLab do?
SwimLab turns your iPhone on a tripod into a race-simulation rig: it runs the official start protocol (whistles, "take your marks", start tone), films your swim, times it to the hundredth, and renders a share-ready race video — hands-free after a single tap.
The start signal doesn't play out loud
The start signal is designed to fire through the speaker even when your phone is on silent. Check that media volume is turned up and that no headphones or Bluetooth speaker are connected — audio routes to whatever output is active.
Where are my videos stored?
Everything stays on your phone — clips live in SwimLab's private storage and race data in a local database. Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes its clips, so export anything you want to keep first. See the privacy policy.
How do I get a video into my Photos library?
Open a clip, tap Export, choose your format (9:16, 1:1, or 4:5), then "Save to Photos" — or share it directly with the iOS share sheet.
