Privacy Policy

SwimLab iOS app · Last updated: July 19, 2026

SwimLab is built so that your data never leaves your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. SwimLab does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.

What stays on your device

  • Video recordings you capture with SwimLab are stored only in the app's private storage on your iPhone.
  • Race data (times, marks, tags, notes) is stored in a local database on your iPhone.
  • Standard iOS device backups (iCloud or computer) may include this data under your own Apple account, governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions SwimLab asks for

  • Camera — to record your swims. Video is saved only on your device.
  • Microphone — to record audio with your clips and the start signal.
  • Photo Library (add only) — only when you tap "Save to Photos", to save a video you explicitly exported. SwimLab cannot read your photo library.

Sharing

Videos leave your device only when youexplicitly share or save them using the iOS share sheet or "Save to Photos". Where they go is entirely your choice.

Children

SwimLab does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
